The Journey

It’s pretty amazing to see yourself being transformed into the lovely bride in your own wedding album. Although it took tremendous time and efforts, when you look at the pictures you simply realize that everything is worth it. To get to the person in the picture, I practically went on “fast” for two months by eating only baked chicken breast every night, letting go all the carbohydrates I always crave for, and needless to say all the sodas and sweets! Well then, two months later, here I am, shedding 12 pounds, looking fresh and fit, in those amazing pictures one after another!

Taking wedding photos is one of the many big steps for Asian couple, and here we are, made our first big shot! What’s lying ahead might be even more time consuming and require incredible amount of attention and hard work, but hey, this is my wedding and nobody is going to live through the once-in-a-life-time experience for me. So why not enjoy the whole process and make it happen with someone you love?

Thanks for all the supports from people we love and who love us dearly. I truly believe everyone is destined for something great and big that it’s worthwhile to put oneself 100% to it. And whatever the outcome may be, we have learned invaluable experience and outgrown ourselves by each step we made during the journey.

Wedding pictures.

After the month long wait, we finally got the pictures today.

Not to mention the pictures are great, the process itself was amazing. We flied all the way back to Taiwan in March to have our pictures taken. Since the photographer was so famous, he was only available on that specific day. Guess what? It rained cats and dogs and there was no light at all for photography.

With plan B (taking pictures in November) going around our head, photographer suddenly told us that we are going to Yi-Lan, a county next to Taipei. Still raining on the highway, but we can see a little bit blue sky far ahead from us. Apparently, it was the only place that didn't rain in the whole country that day.

...and here are the outcomes!
